Even though I'm sure most of you know these rules since every form you've ever been on has them, I suggest you read them again, because they may be slightly different to what you're used to.
Rules: 1. Legends of Tortall is a Beginner-Advanced RPG. All posts need to be at least 250 words long with good grammar, spelling and punctuation. Spell check is your friend and will save you a lot of time; use it! 2. Be kind and courteous to other players. Being rude or disrespectful to your fellow RPers will result in a warning. Each time after the first that you are rude, the warning and resulting punishment will be worse, ending in being banned. 3. No god-modding, or power playing. You may only play your own character. Please do not make someone else's character do something unless you have gotten permission to make them do that action. I am aware that it can get tough in fights to refrain from this and if you have consulted your opponent beforehand, small acts of power playing may be okay. 4. No spamming. Please refrain from spamming the boards. Your fellow players and I do not appreciate having to look through random and useless posts. 5. Keep your accounts active. Account inactivity over an extended period of time will result in deletion. I will send you warnings via e-mail beforehand, but if you do not respond with an excuse or come back within a month, then I will delete your account. 6. Wait until your character has been accepted by a staff member before posting in the IC boards. This is pretty self explanatory; don't post anywhere in character before a staff member or myself have posted 'accepted' on your character application. 7. Keep posts PG-13. LoT is a PG-13 form, please keep all your posts rated as such. If you must have a scene of detailed fighting or romance, please switch to Private Messages, or ask me to create you a password protected board temporarily. 8. LoT is copyrighted to myself and Tamora Pierce. Please do not copy an part of it for another site. 9. Keep your signature a respectable size. Please do not make your signature overly large; I do not want to see them causing page stretches and I most certainly to not want to have them taking up a whole page.
