These are rules pertaining to character creation and use. These are every bit as important as the Standard Rules and are to be followed.

Rules:
1. There are no limits on characters. You may create as many characters as you wish as long as each is on a different account and all are kept active.
2. Avoid making your character related to another (book or player made). Unless I have cleared it, there will be no characters directly related to any of the main book characters. I realize that if your character is from Pirate's Swoop, then they're indirectly related to Alanna; or Keladry if they're from Mindelan, etc. Try to avoid this though; individuality is key.
3. Keep in mind the time LoT is set in. All of Tamora Pierce's characters are dead and have been for a while. Legends of Tortall is set 200 years after Alanna the Lioness became Champion.
4. Be realistic. No character is perfect and I don't want to see any Mary-Sues floating around. In my opinion, the more flaws the better. It definitely makes for a more interesting post.
5. No Gods or Goddesses. Besides the three main plot characters, there will be no characters that are a God's child, or that have immortal powers.
6. Create a new account for every character. For each character you make, create a new account; it makes things a lot less confusing for the rest of us.
